For the past 5 years I have chased bumble bee's around trying to get a good shot of one.
Well, I finally finally finally got one, at the beginning of august.

Yippie!

I was bored one Sunday afternoon while cory was helping his step dad with his computer.  I walked outside with my camera to take pictures and saw a big church across the street, so decided to go inside and look around.

I came across this rabbit, (who I later found out is named Hopper) and he was in the most discusting cage I had ever seen.

He had a broken back leg, blind in one eye, and othing to stand on but this wire bottom cage. )

so, cory tried for half an hour to save mr mouse.
after that he went inside to find a new method of moving the mouse, and 20 min later when he went back outside to try again, the mouse was frozen, and no longer alive.

i could never be a vet.  i'm upset about a friggen mouse :(

So, over the weekend we saw a mouse in the house.  we bought those "don't kill the mice" traps so you can set them free once you catch it.  we caught the little guy last night (has to be a baby, he was so tiny) and this morning let him out at the end of the drive way before cory took me to work.  When he got home, about half hour later, the mouse was still in the trap. looking cold. and upset.

cory took it back inside in the trap to warm up.  after a while he decided to try letting him out in the back yard, may be a more familiar environment.  after an hour or so he went to see what became of mr. mouse.  mr mouse had walked back up to our house and sat by our window staring inside, shivering.

cory emailed me not knowing what to do, he felt so bad letting this little wild mouse freeze to death.  so i called him and said to get a box with some hay and put the mouse in there and i'll figure something out when i get home.

i know grown mice have a higher chance of carrying disease (at least i think anyway) does anyone know anything about wild baby mice? he is super tiny... like... super tiny.  probably as long as my pinky.

Any help is appreciated!
